Who We Are Looking For

Intergalactic is looking to hire a talented web developer to help build great websites and interactive products.

What Will You Be Doing
- Use your amazing knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and CMS systems to build websites on the information superhighway
- Your work will include both public-facing websites as well as secure back-end administration tools
- Help design and build scalable, robust solutions for entering, managing, and exposing content
- Document your work during the development process
- Work with our designers to roll out great looking sites

The Ideal Candidate Will Have The Following
- 4+ years full stack LAMP development
- Experience using a variety of CMS systems
- Solid knowledge of PHP, MySQL, AJAX, Javascript, HTML5 and jQuery
- Experience designing scalable systems
- Experience processing, storing and managing multiple media types including JPG, PDF and MOV files
- Experience working with cloud services

Other Nice To Haves Are
- Experience working with Flash/Actionscript/AIR
- Mobile experience including iOS and Android
- Experience with high availability/high intensity databases including caching mechanisms
- Encryption knowledge
